Frank J Bartula Obituary

Frank J. Bartula of Pine Bush, NY passed away on July 1, 2026 at Garnet Health Medical Center. He was 75. Frank was born on December 12, 1950 in Poughkeepsie, NY to the late Frank Bartula and Mildred Partington. Frank served his country honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He recieved a commendation for his bravery during this conflict. Frank was a Carpenter by trade and was part of the Local 279 Carpenter's Union. He was married to the late Sandra L. Odendahl Bartula. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.


Frank is survived by his daughter, Tammy Stevens (Kevin) of Pine Bush; son Frank J. Bartula (Sharie) of Pine Bush; brother, John Bartula (Jamie) of Saratoga; sister, Ralphynne Vance of Poughkeepsie; grandchildren, Joe Bartula (Danielle), Kortney Stevens, Claudia Wold (David), Maranda Schwegler (Timmy Martin), Amanda DeMouth (Cassidy Valen); great grandchildren, Nora, Summer, Harley, Jemma, Madelyn; nieces and nephews.


He was predeceased by his wife, Sandra L. Bartula and his parents.


Visitation/Wake will be held on Tuesday July 7, 2026 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, Inc. 39 Orchard St. Walden, NY 12586 (845) 778-3811 gridleyhoran.com


Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday July 8, 2026 at 11 AM at the funeral home.


Burial to follow at the Wallkill Valley Cemetery, Rte 52 Walden, NY.
