Eileen Elizabeth Stelljes, lifelong resident of Orange Lake passed away on April 20, 2026. She was 74. Eileen was born September 30, 1951 in Cornwall, NY to the late John Thomas Carroll Sr. and Colleen Pearl Melville. Her business was A Time for a Story. She was active in the Black Dirt Story Telling Guild, The Florida and Walden -Josephine Louise Public Libraries. She had a love for history and enjoyed being active in American Revolution War re-enactments. Eileen had alove for flower and gardening. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her Husband Gunther K. Stelljes at home; Sons, Christopher K. Stelljes (Marie) of Walden, Jason M. Stelljes (Natalie Gromko) of Walden; Daughter Amy C. Judson (Jeremiah) of Wallkill; Brother John Carroll (Heather); Sisters Colleen DePietro (Jerry) of New Jersey, Kathleen Schmidt (Tom) of Virgina, Jacqui Carroll of New Mexico, Lynn Carroll of Wallkill; Grandchildren, Sara, Hailey, Cora, Emily, Kara, Logan, Angelina; Several Nieces and Nephews.

She is Predeseased by her sister Laurie Carroll as well as her parents.
