John R. Kimler of New Paltz, NY formerly of Maybrook, NY passed away on March 30, 2026 at Mid Hudson Regional Hospial in Poughkeepsie, NY. He was 71. John was born on April 22, 1954 in New Haven, Connecticut to the late Francis Kimler and Ethel Lown. He was married to Jane Brady Kimler. John was a Flooring Contractor for many years in the Hudson Valley. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. John was a volunteer fireman for the Village of Maybrook in the 70's. A very speical thanks to his sister in law Deanne Kimler who drove Johnny to his appointments.

John is survived by his wife Jane Kimler at home; a daughter he adored, Janelle Kimler of New Paltz; grandson, Cole Kimler who was the light of his life; several nieces and nephews whom he adored; brothers in law, Thomas Brady (Denise) and William Brady (Kathy); sisters in law, Deanne Kimler and Robin Peterson.

He was predeceased by his sister, Patricia Stone and brothers, Francis Kimler and Ronald Kimler.

Cremation and Services will be private.
