Earl C. Snyder, lifelong resident of Maybrook passed away peacefully on January 9, 2026 at the Kaplan Family Hospice Center in Newburgh, NY. He was 96 years old. Earl was born on August 3, 1929 in Hudson, NY to the late Clarence and Lena Bailey Snyder. He was married to Nancy Jennings Snyder. Earl was a retired insurance agent for Farm Family Insurance. He was a Member of the Wallkill Free and Accepted Masons Lodge #627 for many years. Earl was a lifetime member of the Maybrook Baptist Church, Town of Montgomery Councilman for 25 years. He was an avid singer in a traveling barbershop quartet “The New Yorkers”. He loved to reminisce about how he ran Borden and Crowley Creamery. He said that was his favorite job. He used to laugh about how much he loved milk. He was always a gentleman and a True Republican.
Earl is survived by his wife Nancy Snyder; daughters, Darcy Mayfield (Rich) of Maybrook and Pam Zamory (Steve) of Hillsborough, N.J.; grandchildren, Thomas Mayfield, Ashton Mayfield, Alex Zamory and Kyle Zamory; great grandchildren, James Mayfield, Nick Mayfield, Hardin Mayfield, Wes Knapp and Lucas Knapp; several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his first wife, Virginia "Ginny" Snyder and his brother, George Snyder.
