Brenda Holman Williams of Montgomery, NY passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 after a long illness. She was 77 years old. The daughter of Bruce and Marjorie Holman, she was born June 25, 1948 in Goshen, NY. Brenda grew up in Maybrook, NY and was educated at Valley Central High School and Empire State College. She made her career in banking, marketing and real estate. She had a passion for gardening and history, and loved a good game of scrabble.

Brenda is survived by her son, Bruce Williams (Jody) of Georgia, her daughter Francine Arienti (Nick) of Massachusetts, her sisters Harriet Touraine of Mountainville, Cassie Wild of Montgomery and Faye Kelley (Lew) of Ohio, her two beloved grandchildren, Lia and Evan, and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held Saturday, December 13th from 10am-12noon at Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, 39 Orchard Street, Walden, NY, with burial immediately following at Wallkill Valley Cemetery in Walden.

The family would like to thank the staff of Wingate Residences at Melbourne Place in Pittsfield, MA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to HospiceCare in the Berkshires or to the Alzheimer’s Association.
