Ernest "Ernie" Cea Jr. of Walden, passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side. He was 59. Ernie was born on April 27, 1966 in Bronx, NY to the late Ernest Cea Sr. and Valerie Seed. He was married to Deborah McCoy-Cea. Ernie was a member of the Walden Fire Department/Walden Fire Police (Enterprise Steamer Co.). He drove for B and D Taxi in Walden for over 38 years.

He is survived by Deborah "Debbie" McCoy-Cea at home; sons, Justin Lewis (Jasmin DeLeon) of Walden and James Lewis Jr. (Mary Ann Coddington) of Walden; grandchildren, Deven Lewis and Jenna McKinney; sister, Karen Cea of Seminole, FL; brother, Thomas "Tommy" Dunn; nephew, Robert Hoffman; godchildren, Becca and Rickey Penney; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Ernie was predeceased by his parents.

A visitation will be held on Monday December 8, 2025 from 4-7 PM at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, Inc. 39 Orchard St. Walden, NY 12586.

Services will be held at 7 PM following the visitation.

Cremation will be private.
