Helen T. Romanowski of Walden, NY passed away at Garnet Health Medical Center on September 9, 2025. She was 98. Helen was the widow to the late Charles Romanowski. She was born on January 6, 1927 in Larksville, Pennsylvania to the late Paul Kovach and Anna Kachmar. Over the years, Helen was active as a bowler, water aerobics, gardening and daily walks. She played pinochle every Friday. She was was also active in the Walden Seniors as well as being a longtime member of Most Precious Blood Parish. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her sons, Gary R. Romanowski of Walden, Craig Romanowski (Jeanne) of North Carolina and Robert Romanowski (Anna) of Florida; daughter, Gail Gorton (Robert) of Florida; grandchildren, Trevor, Ryan, Craig and Heather. Four Great Grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Helen was predeceased by her husband Charles; Five brothers and sisters and her parents.

Cremation and services will be private.

In-Lieu of Flowers contributions may be made to Most Precious Blood Church or Wounded Warriors.
