Mary "Mae" A. Brosnan of Maybrook, NY passed away peacefully on Sepetember 20, 2025 in Montgomery Nursing Home. She was 92. Mae was born in County Sligo, Ireland on January 8, 1933 to the late Thomas Mullarkey and Ann Gilligan. She was an active member of the Golden Links Seniors in Maybrook, Catholic Daughters of America and the Bereavement Group of Maybrook. She was a lifelong member of the Church of the Assumption in Maybrook. She was the widow to the late John Brosnan. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Mae is survived by her son, John E. Brosnan (Karen) of Upper Saddle River, N.J.; daughters, Rosemarie Brosnan of Maybrook, Anne V. Kelly (Dan) of Walden and Joan Madalone (Jay) of Philadelphia; grandchildren, Carly (Wayne), Danny (Donna), Chris (Dee), Sean (Christina), Matt (Janice), Jessica (Ben) Stephanie (Andrew), Anthony and Alanna; thirteen great grandchildren; sister, Anne Rose Sullivan of Warwick; sister-in law, Eileen Mullarkey of Bronx, NY; several nieces and nephews
She was predeceased by her husband John Brosnan; brothers, John, Tom, Jerry and Vincent Mullarkey; sister Kathleen Herson.

Funeral Mass will be held on Monday September 29, 2025 at 10:30 AM at Holy Name of Mary-Assumption Church, 89 Union St. Montgomery, NY 12549
Following the mass she will be laid to rest next to her husband in the Orange County Veterans Cemetery, 111 Craigville Rd. Goshen, NY 10924
