Heather Lee Martin Obituary

Heather Lee Martin, 74, of Walden, NY, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on September 22, 2025, at Garnet Health Medical Center in Middletown, NY.

Born on October 10, 1950, in Liverpool, England, Heather was the daughter of the late Willard Allen Williamson and Lila Mae Robinson. Heather lived her life as a faithful servant of Christ, sharing His love through her teaching, her kindness, and her devotion to family and friends. She taught 8th Grade Social Studies at Valley Central Middle School for two decades, where she poured into the lives of her students with patience and encouragement. Her dedication earned her multiple nominations for Teacher of the Year, but her greatest reward was the opportunity to guide and inspire young minds.

Heather was a beloved member of Faith Baptist Church in Montgomery, where she found joy in her weekly Women in the Word Fellowship and Sunday School Bible study. Her life was a testimony to her faith, and she leaves behind a legacy of love, hard work, and steadfast trust in God’s promises.

Heather is survived by her partner of over 30 years, Irving Moss, at home; her daughters, Amy Joy Martin of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Jaimee Jenna Lowe and her husband, Ryan, of Jeffersonville, NY; and her adored grandchildren, Brenden Lowe and Jenna Lowe. She was predeceased by her parents and her sister, Linda Huggins.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3, 2025, from 5–7 p.m. at the Faith Baptist Church, 34 E. Searsville Rd., Montgomery, NY. A celebration service of Heather’s life will follow on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at 11 a.m. at the church, with burial immediately after at Wallkill Valley Cemetery, Route 52, Walden, NY.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Faith Baptist Church, as Heather was an active contributor to their community ministry.

Heather’s faith never wavered, and she found peace in the promise of eternal life through Jesus Christ. Though her presence will be deeply missed, her family and friends rejoice knowing that she is now at rest in the arms of her Savior.
