Jay Allen Shields of Maybrook, NY passed away on September 3, 2025 in Yonkers, NY. He was 65. Jay was born on September 4, 1958 in Goshen, NY to James and Helen Holmberg Shields. He was a Roofing Contractor for many years at C.C. Oliphant in Deleware. Jay was a die hard New York Jets and New York Mets fan, always hoping for that Superbowl and /or World Series Win. He will be missed by his family and friends.

Jay is survived by his children; Kelly Negron (Roberto) and Eric Shields (Stacey); brothers, Mark Pepper (Sandy) and Glenn Pepper (Lisa); Seven Grandchildren and One Great Grandchild; ; Uncle Charley Shields (Carole); nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; James Shields; Helen Holmberg Shields Pepper; step-father, Carl Pepper.

Services will be private.
