Karen L. Davenport of Walden, NY passed away with her family by her side on August 11, 2025 at the Kaplan Family Hospice Center. She was 81. Karen was born in Goshen, NY on December 8, 1943. She was married to the late Frederick Davenport. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Karen is survived by her son, Christopher Davenport of Montgomery, NY; daughters, Kathy L. Hunter (Kendall) of Dingmans Ferry, PA and Renee Caston; grandchildren, Thomas Gibbons, Brandon Gibbons, Jamar Lindo, Cody Davenport and Ryan Davenport; great grandchildren, Jordan Gibbons, Emani Lindo and Maverick Gibbons; nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband Frederick; sister, Sondra Zoeller and Janice Koontz and her parents.

Memorial Contributions may be made in her name to the Alzheimers Association.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Sunday August 17, 2025 from 2-4 PM at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, Inc. 39 Orchard St. Walden, NY 12586. Prayer service will be held at 4 PM following the visitation.
