Elaine A. Borkowski of Montgomery, NY. passed away on June 18, 2025 at Garnet Health Medical Center. She was 84. Elaine was born on March 21, 1941 to the late Edward James Melville and Mary Deffa in Queens, NY. She was married to the late Anthony J. Borkowski Sr. Elaine was a Accounts Payable Clerk for Ottaway Newspaper, Inc. in Campbell Hall, NY. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her son, Anthony Borkowski Jr. (Joyce) of Montgomery; brother, Kenneth Melville (Jane) of Groomes Point, NY; grandchildren, Alexander and Katie Ann Borkowski; Nieces, Donna Joyce, Jessica Joyce, Elizabeth Joyce and Dr. Christine Joyce; Nephew, Brian Joyce; great nephews, Bodhi, Harrison, Asher, Eli, Luke, Stephen and Noah.

She was predeceased by her son, Stephen Borkowski; brothers, Donald, Arthur, Edward and Walter; sisters, Joan, Ginger and Catherine.

In-lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
