Josephine K. Ficarra of Maybrook passed away peacefully at her home on June 6, 2025. She was 99 years old. She was born on October 29,1925 in Maybrook, New York to the late Carmine Caruso and Philomena Neitra. Josephine was married to late David Ficarra. She was a seamstress for

many years in the garment industry for Brookmay Manufacturing Company in Maybrook, NY. Josephine was a member of Church of Assumption in Maybrook and the Maybrook Golden Links. She loved her Yankees and would love to sit and watch Wrestling. She enjoyed a good word puzzle book and the sun rose and set with her granddaughter Rianne and her great granddaughters Ava and Rae. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her daughters, Josanne Golden (Richard) of Maybrook, Susan Lepski (Ronald) of Maybrook, NY.; granddaughter, Rianne Enright (Sean); great grandchildren, Ava and Rae; several nieces and nephews.

Josephine was predeceased by her husband David Ficarra; sisters, Christine Suo (Joseph) and Mildred Spolverino (Gregory) and her parents.

In lieu of flowers friends may make contributions to the Maybrook Fire Department.
