Ruth Ann Strang of Coldenham passed away at Garnet Health Medical Center on May 7, 2025. She was 80. She was born on August 17, 1944 in Newburgh, NY to the late Albert and Edith White Strang. She worked for many years as a chamber maid at the Super 8 and other hotels in Newburgh,NY. She was a member of the Montgomery Seniors. She loved collecting antiques. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Ruth is survived by her daughters, Ann Stewart (Robert) of North Carolina and Dawn Gibbs (Richard Shultis) of Kingston, NY; sister, Della Louckes of Montgomery; grandchildren; Mark Gibbs, Brittany Gibbs, Daniel Gibbs, Annmarie Stewart, Bobby Jean Stewart, Robert Stewart, Christopher Stewart, ; several grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her son, Brian Decker; brothers and sisters, John Strang, Edith Strang, Sonny Strang, Josephine MacCarthy, Inez Penticost, Susan Cohen, Charlie Brueschaber.

A Prayer Service will follow the visitation at 7 PM.
Burial of her ashes will be held a later date in the Coldenham Cemetery.
