Thomas Peter Scarzfava of Colden Park, passed away at his home with his family by his side. He was 59. He was born on October 9, 1965 to the Lawrence Scarzfava Sr. and Cora "Petie" Huddleston in Middletown, NY. He was married to Joann Rodriguez. Tom was a Courier for UPS for many years. He loved music, his favorite station was WPDH and would always call up and Guess the song and win tickets. He loved the Cowboys, and the Yankees. He loved his family and was known at the Galleria as the driver who always wore the classic brown UPS shorts. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Tom is survived by his wife; Joann Scarzfava at home; father, Lawrence Scarzfava Sr. (Holly Ross) of Middletown; son, Kyle Scarzfava (Cassidy) of North Carolina; daughter Olyvia Scarzfava (Blake) of North Carolina; step-son, Jayden Rodriguez of Colden Park; step-daughter, Angelina Rodriguez of Colden Park; brother, ,Larry Scarzfava (Linda) of Slate Hill; sister Toni Lynn Taverna (Dominic) of Mass.; several nieces and nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his mother Cora. Memorial Contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice in Tom's name. Visitation will be held on Thursday April 3, 2025 from 10 AM to 1 PM at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, Inc. 39 Orchard St. Walden, NY 12586 845-778-3811 gridleyhoran.com. Services will be held following the visitation at 1:30 at St. Francis of Assisi Episcopal Church 74 Wallkill Avenue Montgomery, New York 12549.
