Obituary of Edward Raymond Brown

Edward Raymond Brown of Lord's Valley, PA formerly of Campbell Hall, NY passed away at Garnet Health Medical Center on February 2, 2025. He was 70. Edward was born on January 1, 1955 in Middletown, NY to Michael K. Brown and Betty Whitby. He was the husband of Ellen L. (Blanche) Brown for almost 40 years. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and then the National Guard. He worked as a security officer for several companies in the San Diego, California Region. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Ed is survived by his wife Ellen L. Brown at home; father Michael K. Brown (Sally) of Lacona, NY; step-sons, Robert Huslinger (Nydia) of Middletown and Scott Huslinger (Karen) of Middletown; step-daughter, Dierdre Kearns (Joseph) of California; brothers, Daniel T. Brown of Wurtsboro, Michael S. (Michelle) of Bullville, NY, Timothy Bull Brown (Barbara) of Pine Bush; sisters, Michele J. Fiorito (Richard) of Middletown, Lisa Ann Ryan of Cortland, NY and Melanie Joy Latimer of Middletown; grandchildren, Kane Huslinger, Aaliyah Huslinger, Alexis McCall, Jaden McCall, Scott J. Huslinger and Madison Huslinger; aunt, Kay Bull of Arizona, Mary Ann Cohen (Bill) of North Carolina; uncle, Louis E. Brown II of Arizona; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother, Betty and uncle, William Bull Brown. Memorial Contributions may be made to your Local Veterans Organization. Visitation will be held on Thursday February 13, 2025 from 5-7 PM at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, Inc. 39 Orchard St. Walden, NY 12586. Prayer service will be held at 7 PM following the visitation. Cremation to follow. Burial of Ed's ashes will be held at a later date in the Orange County Veterans Cemetery 111 Craigville Rd.
