Thelma B. Gillespie, of Walden, NY passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2024 at Twin Cedar Senior Living, Shohola, PA. The daughter of the late Wilbur Bennett and the late Nancy Sturgis Bennett, she was born on April 21, 1928 in Walden, NY. She was 95 years old.

The wife of the late Arnold H. Gillespie, Thelma is survived by her children, William Gillespie (Linda) of Walden, NY, Mark Gillespie (Sharon) of Gardiner, NY, and Shari Hulse of Wurtsboro, NY; her grandchildren Rachel, Rebekah, and James; and great-grandchildren Elaina, Savannah, and Hailey. She was predeceased by her brother, Donald Bennett, and her grandson, Christopher.

A funeral service will be held at 4 pm on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, 39 Orchard St., Walden, NY.
