Holman, Jr. of Wallkill, NY, a sheet metal worker for Local #38 in Brewster, passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at Vassar Brothers Hospital, Poughkeepsie, NY.  He was 55.  The son of Richard L. and Loretta Behr Holman, he was born October 8, 1957 in Cornwall, NY.</p>
<p>Richard is survived by his parents, Richard L. and Loretta Holman of Coldenham, NY; his longtime companion, Helene Revoir and her son Jess Revoir of Wallkill, aunts, uncles and cousins.  He was predeceased by his brother, John “Jack” Holman.</p>
<p>Visitation will be held on Friday, May 24, 2013 from 5 – 8 PM at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, 39 Orchard St., Walden, NY.  A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, May 25, at the Church of the Most Precious Blood, Walden, NY.  Cremation will be in the Cedar Hill Crematory, Newburgh.  Burial of his cremains will be in the Wallkill Valley Cemetery, Walden.  </p>
<p>Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.</p>

Christopher of the Town of Newburgh, NY, a retired supervisor at Virtis Co, Wallkill, NY passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2013 at the Mountain View Nursing Home, New Paltz,  NY.   The son of Walter A. and Clara Darby Christopher, he was born on March 19, 1928 in Schenectady, NY.</p>
<p>Walter was a US Army veteran during the Korean War.  He was a member of the Wallkill Masonic Lodge #627, Walden, the Southern Bee Keepers, the Cornwall Yacht Club and a Ham Radio Operator with the Orange County Amateur Radio Club, call sign OFWE2W, and OC ARES Races.  The family would like to thank the staff at Mountain View Nursing Home.</p>
<p>He is the widower of the late Barbara K. Christopher.  Survivors are a daughter, Dorothy Nott and her husband, Thomas of Newburgh; a son, Kevin T. Christopher and his wife Ann of Marlow, OK; Grandchildren, Martin, Paige and Amber; nieces and  nephews. He was predeceased by his son, William Christopher and sister, Patricia Ann Germain.</p>
<p>Cremation will be in the Cedar Hill Crematory, Newburgh, NY.  Memorial services will be announced at a later date.  </p>
<p>Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Assoc.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Nunzio M. Mondello of Montgomery, NY, formerly of Maybrook, NY, passed away on Monday, April 29, 2013 at Orange Regional Medical Center, Middletown, NY.  The son of Michael and Rose Rubino Mondello, he was born on September 21, 1926 in Warwick, NY. A WW II Navy veteran, he was a retired employee of American Felt &#038; Filter Co, New Windsor, NY.  He also worked for the New York, New Haven &#038; Hartford Railroad and the Ford Motor Co, Mahwah, NJ.</p>
<p>Nunzio was a kind man with a gentle spirit who was loved and adored by his family and friends.  He enjoyed all sports, but was an avid Yankee fan and a huge Frank Sinatra fan.  He loved good Italian food.  He was a member and former usher at the Church of the Assumption, Maybrook, and a member and past commander of the VFW Post 2064, Maybrook.</p>
<p>He was the widower of the late Martha Stryker Mondello.  Survivors are his longtime companion, Winnie Lutz; his son, Michael P. Mondello and his wife, Dana DuVall-Mondello of Montgomery, his daughter, Alesia R.Mondello and her partner Donna Cordova of Avon, CT., and many nieces and nephews.  Nunzio is predeceased by his wife , Martha, his parents, Michael and Rose Mondello and sisters, Rose Mayfield and her husband, Reagon and Lena Musetti and her husband, Ben.</p>
<p>A visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 from 3-7 PM at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, 39 Orchard St., Walden, NY.  Graveside services will be held on Thursday, May 2 at 10:00 AM at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Montgomery, NY.  A memorial mass will be celebrated on Saturday, May 4 at 10:00 AM at the Church of the Assumption, Maybrook, NY.</p>
<p>Memorial contributions may be made to the Montgomery Fire Dept., Town of Montgomery Volunteer Ambulance Corps, or the Montgomery Food Pantry.</p>

Lundell of New Paltz, a retired LTC with the Army National Guard and a school psychologist in Middletown, passed away on Monday, April 1, 2013 in Poughkeepsie, NY.  The son of Carl F. and Jacqueline Stockford Lundell, he was born on August 22, 1946 in Newburgh, NY. He was 66.<br />
He was a member of the New Paltz VFW and the Tillson American Legion.</p>
<p>Carl is survived by his wife, Ann Schulte Lundell at home; two sons, Carl Eric Lundell and his wife, Lisa of NC, and Ian Lundell of SC; a daughter Julia Kimbrell and her husband, Patrick of NC; two stepsons, Jeremy Turner and his wife Trina of New Paltz and Sean Turner and his wife Renae of Circleville; one stepdaughter, Crystal Miller and her husband, Craig of Kripplebush; a sister, Bobbie Richert of Walden; seven grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his father, Carl and mother, Jackie and a sister, Juani Saddlemire.</p>
<p>Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 4, 2013 from 11 to 2 PM at the Trinity Lutheran Church, Route 208 Walden, NY.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday following the visitation at 2 PM.  Cremation will be in the Cedar Hill Crematory, Newburgh, NY.</p>

Rosemarie is survived by two sons, Mark Swanson of Walden and Joseph Swanson of Middletown; three daughters, Susan Regino and her husband, Mike of Middletown, Gail Dallas and her husband, Dane of Cedaredge, CO, and Karen Swanson of Albany; a sister, Kathy Milsaps of Madisonville, TN; eight grandchildren, Amanda, Mariann, James, Jason, Joshua, Lanissa, Michael and Jordan; eight grandchildren, nieces and newphews.  She was predeceased by her sister, Marylou Kramer.<br />

<p>Charles was an Army veteran having served in the Korean War.  He reenlisted in the Marines and served during the Viet Nam War.  He was a member of the Fleet Reserve Association and a former member of the Col. Bradley Hose Co.</p>
<p>Survivors are his wife, Marie Webber Jones at home; 2 sons, Brian Jones and his wife Therese of Vassar, MI and Michael Jones of Murfreesboro, TN; two daughters, Lynn Yack and her husband John of Walden, and Karen Jones of Walden; a brother David Jones of Georgia; 6 grandchildren, Jason, Raechelle, Joshua, Anthony, Kayla and Piper; two great grandchildren, Kimi and Charlotte; nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by a brother, Eugene Jones and three sisters, Thelma Crawford, Marguerite Terwilliger and Cora Revior.</p>
<p>A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, 39 Orchard St., Walden, NY.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10 am at the funeral home.  Burial will be in the O.C. Veterans Cemetery Goshen, NY</p>
